Essential criteria
- ALL sections of application form FULLY completed
Knowledge, Training & Experience
Essential criteria
- Significant experience in radiotherapy treatment planning / patient dosimetry including advanced techniques such as VMAT, SABR and breathing motion management
- Significant experience in mould room work
- Experience in brachytherapy
- Experience of multidisciplinary team working
- Involvement in the training of staff / students
- Specialist understanding of principles and practice of radiotherapy treatment planning
- Excellent knowledge of Quality Management Systems
- Understanding of relevant legislation, standard and guidelines.
- Experience of managing/supervising staff and/or section
- Experience of performing staff appraisals
Desirable criteria
- Experience using Eclipse treatment planning system
- Experience of performing internal quality audits
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Essential criteria
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and with interruptions
- Ability to concentrate and work accurately for prolonged periods
Desirable criteria
- Working knowledge of NHS HR policies and procedures
Special Attributes and other
Essential criteria
- Good manual dexterity for manipulation of mould room materials
- Excellent IT skills
- Demonstrate empathy and diplomacy
