Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Master's degree and Degree level education or equivalent knowledge and experience in management.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.

Desirable criteria

  • Preferably in a health care subject

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Successful track record and relevant experience as a lead manager within an NHS organisation managing clinical services
  • Demonstrate evidence of sound financial/staff management.
  • Evidence of effectively managing change.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience within an acute hospital setting.

Knowledge

Essential criteria

  • Sound knowledge base of the NHS, the current issues, its values and principles of timely local access for the population.
