Diversity Equity & Inclusion Manager

Job Purpose:

This role will champion, coordinate and deliver our Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) activities in the UK and Ireland. You will help to build a culture of collective participation, where equity and inclusion are engrained in everything we do. You'll contribute to the development, administration and implementation of interventions that support us in delivering our DE&I commitments. To support this goal, you'll develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to embed DE&I and Wellbeing into all aspects of our colleague journey.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage and own DE&I activities and projects in the UK and Ireland and drive our strategy
  • Work closely with our colleague DEI forums, building strong relationships to support them in delivering initiatives and change that represent colleagues across ODEON
  • Implement DE&I and wellbeing people policies and procedures that comply with relevant statutory and legal obligations set out in the Equality Act 2010, and all other applicable laws
  • Research, apply, promote and evaluate diversity and wellbeing initiatives and share best practice across the team
  • Champion diversity and wellbeing through every part of the colleague journey, working collaboratively with People team colleagues to build inclusive practices throughout
  • Work with external suppliers and partner organisations to drive DE&I initiatives, sharing external insight and awareness across the organisation
  • To implement and support internal wellbeing activities that promote a healthy culture for all colleagues
  • To collaboratively develop an annual calendar that promotes DEI and wellbeing activities and is accessible and relevant to all colleagues
  • To feed into the wider OCG DE&I and Wellbeing plan, sharing best practice across other territories and contributing to group wide projects and initiatives as needed

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience leading and supporting DEI and wellbeing projects from inception to delivery
  • A passion for building a diverse and inclusive culture
  • Awareness of DEI and wellbeing related best practice
  • Experience in dealing with and influencing a variety of stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple time sensitive projects in an organised manner
  • Able to make a persuasive, clear presentation of ideas, both in writing and orally to convince others and gain acceptance
  • Is personally resilient under pressure or opposition and makes controlled responses in stressful situations
  • A self-starter with the ability to drive forward ideas and projects
