Job Summary - Display Account Manager

This role sits within the Amplifi, the global media investment platform of Dentsu working with Carat clients.

At Carat, we exist to accelerate growth for the UK's largest advertisers, building our clients' brands through a performance mindset. The Carat team works across a network of more than 8,000 media specialists spread across 93 global markets.

Role Overview

The candidate will report into their line manager with the expectation of delivering best in class Display planning and management across all campaigns. They will demonstrate they are a first-class operator that sets a high standard, showing robust organisation, diligence, productivity and commercial acumen.

The successful candidate will work across our clients including Pandora, Ferrero and Wickes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Display Account Manager on the Digital Activation team, your key responsibilities will cover:

  • Co-ordinate and manage the team to plan and deliver consistent and best in class campaigns across display (digital and print)
  • Ensure client servicing is to a high standard for you and all direct reports
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with comms planners, media owners, clients and Dentsu teams including Programmatic team
  • Confident in understanding of their specialism: the market, consumption behaviours, emerging trends, adherence practises and opportunities - able to apply their team to translate to solutions that deliver on client's objectives delivering innovative & progressive display planning solutions
  • Demonstrate your media expertise on a regular basis
  • Bringing innovative and creative ideas to life in media planning responses and operational excellence
  • Produce and deliver high quality presentations
  • Provide robust and insightful analysis in reports and PCA's, leveraging data-driven insights to optimise campaign performance and future recommendations

Qualifications

  • Strong negotiation skills & interpersonal skills
  • Great attention to detail - Ability to ensure 100% accuracy across all planning, buying and commercial processes
  • Provide high quality implementation and innovative media solutions in response to briefs from comms planners and/or clients
  • Full understanding of display planning tools (PRISMA /MEDIATEL / CLEAR DECISIONS, MEDIA EXPLORER/ STACK) and confidently interpret the data provide to form robust rationales that ladder back to client's objectives/KPIs
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and able to pick up new systems as necessary
  • Responsible for the correct management of Display Investment across your clients
  • Implement innovative and creative ideas to the Display planning process for your clients and share with wider team
  • Attending all department huddles, media owner meetings & surgeries
  • Build strong relationship with clients so that you become a trusted member of the Carat team and contribute to positive TRR scores
  • Confident at interpreting data to track progress of campaigns live for digital & printed display (Addynamix, DCM)
  • Proactive attitude to work and career development
  • Calm under pressure and able to prioritise and deliver work to deadlines
  • Flexibility to work outside of contractual hours as and when required
  • Able to confidently train and develop the Junior members in the team
