Dispensing Optician Manager

Location: Alnwick
Salary: £40,000 (subject to experience)
Working Hours: Full and Part-Time opportunities

Experience Level: Will consider experienced and qualified dispensing opticians

About The Role

Specsavers in Alnwick are looking for an experienced Dispensing Optician to join them as a manager. We will be a community-focused store dedicated to ensuring that every one of our customers receives an excellent patient experience. We are seeking a manager or Dispensing Optician with great leadership skills that is ready to use their passion and knowledge to help us build on our ever-growing and loyal customer base.

We offer an excellent clinical environment with 2 test rooms and a hearcare room. There is a close-knit experienced clinical team of Optometrists, Contact Lens Optician and Dispensing Opticians.

We are very focused on the work/life balance and flexibility of our team, so would love to talk to you about your ideal working week, whether that is that you would like fixed days or less weekend working - we want to make it work for you.

We are passionate about the clinical development of our team, our Dispensing Opticians are an integral part of our store management team, so we're keen to get you up to speed. With ILM courses, Pre-Reg supervision and the Specsavers Partnership scheme (Pathway) all available to explore. Along with your clinical and retail expertise - this will stand you in good stead if you choose to become a store director yourself one day.
