POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Treasury will play a pivotal role in managing Aman's financial assets and liabilities. This role involves overseeing a range of treasury functions to ensure the efficient and effective management of cash, investments, currencies, and credit card processing across the global portfolio. The position requires a strategic thinker with a proactive approach to managing financial risks and opportunities while maintaining compliance and optimizing tax matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Open Bank Accounts: Facilitate the opening of bank accounts as needed across hotels and corporate entities. Ensure all banking arrangements are compliant with local regulations and aligned with Aman's global financial strategies.

• Manage Account Rights: Oversee account rights, including access and signoff, to ensure proper control and security of financial assets. Implement and maintain a robust system for monitoring and managing account access across the organization.

• Cash Investment: Invest available cash based on liquidity needs and return targets, optimizing the company's financial performance. Develop and implement investment strategies that balance risk and return in alignment with Aman's financial goals.

• Currency Management: Effectively manage and monitor currency exposure to minimize risks and capitalize on market opportunities. Develop strategies to hedge currency risks and optimize foreign exchange transactions.

• Credit Card Processing: Administer credit card processing across the portfolio, collaborating with partners such as Worldline and Amex to ensure seamless transactions and integration. Monitor and improve processing efficiencies, reduce costs, and enhance security.

• PCI Compliance: Ensure all credit card processing activities are compliant with PCI standards, safeguarding sensitive payment information. Implement policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of data security and compliance.

• Tax Optimization: Work closely with the in-house tax team to optimize tax matters, including the management of all distributions, to enhance financial efficiency and compliance. Ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations while identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a senior treasury or financial management role, preferably within the hospitality industry.

• Strong understanding of global banking systems, investment strategies, and currency management.

• Experience with credit card processing systems and PCI compliance.

• Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

• Strong leadership skills with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.

• Advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.

• Professional certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA) are a plus.
