Framingham Earl High School has over 100 staff dedicated to providing a first-class education. The school prides itself in delivering education through strong academic lessons and a nurturing ethos which encapsulates a wide range of community and co-curricular links. The school's most recent Ofsted was in October 2022 and the school received 'Good'. Our exam results in 2024 put us in the top schools in Norfolk with 79% gaining grade 4 plus and 57% gaining grade 5 plus in English and mathematics
Framingham Earl High School is a member of the Sapientia Education Trust (SET), an expanding Trust with 11 Primaries and 9 Secondary Schools.
The Role
We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and talented Director of Subject (History) with a commitment to achieving excellence for all our students. You will be an excellent teacher of history and have an unwavering passion for your subject. You will have a clear focus and understanding of what makes outstanding teaching and learning and provide excellent outcomes for students.
The first six months of employment shall be a probationary period, and employment may be terminated by the trust during this period at any time on one week's prior written notice. The trust may, at its absolute discretion, extend this period for up to a further six months. During this probationary period, performance and suitability for continued employment will be monitored.
