The Team

Our Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG), is widely recognised as a leader in built asset programmes. We provide leading advice in regulated utilities and transportation, amongst other sectors. We have won many awards, including 'gold' in the yearly Financial Times Leading Management Consultants List.

The Role

We are seeking a high-calibre Director to join our Strategic Advisory Services (SAS) team, within IAG. This is an exceptional opportunity to help lead our ambitious growth plan. We are an established, high-performing team delivering strategic infrastructure advice with the highest levels of client care and integrity.

This is a rare chance to take an influential leadership role in an ambitious and growing team - one where you'll shape strategic outcomes for clients and help build the future of our infrastructure advisory capability.

You will lead both the delivery and business development of advisory work across business planning, business cases, delivery and operational models, and supply chain strategy. An established presence in the power and utilities sectors will be critical in helping us drive forward our ambitious growth agenda from inception.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of strategic infrastructure projects, from early-stage analysis through to implementation
• Drive business development efforts, originating and converting opportunities with both new and existing clients
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior clients across infrastructure sectors
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, driving growth in-line with our strategy
• Play a central role in growing our market presence, leveraging your network and sector knowledge
• Provide strong leadership to an established team, supporting their development and helping to nurture a culture of collaboration, quality, and ambition
• Nurture and develop talent, helping to grow the next generation of infrastructure leaders within the firm
• Uphold and champion our commitment to exceptional client care and integrity in every engagement

The Person

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

• Substantial experience in infrastructure advisory or related roles, with considerable sector knowledge in power and utilities.
• Significant expertise in energy networks; transition and distribution
• Proven leadership of complex strategic projects, particularly in business case development, delivery and operational model design, or supply chain strategy
• A strong commercial track record, with the ability to win and grow client relationships
• A well-established industry network, and a passion for influencing the future of UK infrastructure
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills, with a genuine commitment to developing others
• Ability to build, inspire, and lead high-performing teams
• A collaborative, values-led approach, aligned to our standards of integrity, quality, and care
