Established in 1632, Sir John Leman High School is steeped in history and has produced many generations of well-educated young people. The school has a strong emphasis on values and a relentless focus on improving learning which is driving up performance in all aspects of our school.
We are seeking to recruit a talented and ambitious science specialist to take a leading role in our successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive high school.
You would be inheriting a high performing and committed team, many of whom have taught in the school for a number of years. The success of the department is evidenced by the strong demand for sciences at key stage 5, where we offer applied science alongside the more traditional A Levels. The department is well resourced, with support from an excellent team of technicians.
The post would suit an experienced teacher/leader looking to further their career in a rich teaching environment.
