What you will be doing -
- Work in partnership with the Retail Leadership team to deliver on operational, financial, people and ESG objectives
- Maintain excellent working relationships with corporate teams and cross-organisational functions to drive greater effectiveness and efficiencies
- Work with the department managers across retail and wider corporate communities to ensure objectives and KPI's are consistently being achieved and opportunities for improvement are identified
- Build and develop a team of skilled subject matter experts focused on support and delivery, leveraging a continuous improvement methodology and culture to drive performance and minimise technology downtime and H&S risk.
- Responsible for leading innovation plans with systems and AI/Automation as well as being responsible for key supplier relationships to build top class delivery capability for the future
- Lead the team to ensure our strategy and 'here and now' performance plans are grounded in data and insight and to ensure 'Retail understands itself' to minimise key risks and realise key opportunities
- Develop and control operational budgets to promote profitability and ensure the company has all the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial parameters
- Acting the business sponsor for Retail Technology project and key initiatives - leading the development of business cases and delivery plans. Being the voice of Retail colleagues and customers

- Have excellent project management skills with a track record of working on cross-functional projects
- Have experience of delivery within the betting and gaming industry or another heavily regulated sector
- Have demonstrable leadership skills and ability to communicate complex requirements to technical delivery teams
- Display commercial awareness and problem-solving skills with an analytical mind and able to take the initiative
