This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.

About Faculty

Faculty transforms organisational performance through safe, impactful and human-led AI.

We are Europe's leading applied AI company, and saw its potential a decade ago - long before the current hype cycle.

We founded in 2014 with our Fellowship programme, training academics to become commercial data scientists.

Today, we provide over 300 global customers with industry-leading software, and bespoke AI consultancy for retail, healthcare, energy, and governmental organisations, as well as our award winning Fellowship.

Our expertise and safety credentials are such that OpenAI asked us to be their first technical partner, helping customers deploy cutting-edge generative AI safely.

Our high-impact work has saved lives through forecasting NHS demand during covid, produced green energy by routing boats towards the wind, slashed marketing spend by predicting customer spending habits, and kept children safe online.

AI is an epoch-defining technology. We want people to join us who can help our customers reap its enormous benefits safely.

About the role

Faculty is at an exciting moment in our development as a business. We are launching Frontier; a market leading decision intelligence product, to enhance our more established consulting practice. Frontier is using cutting edge artificial intelligence to build out an intelligence layer for organisations to enable them to make better decisions faster.

As our first Director of Product Marketing, you will have the exciting opportunity to build the Product Marketing function working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Design, and Delivery. This role is particularly strategic as it will help define and drive the success of the product in a nascent market at the forefront of AI.

  • Drive thought leadership content to establish Frontier as an industry-defining leader
  • Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas
  • Provide input into product roadmap, strategy, and pricing based on market and customer research finding, industry analyst interactions and competitive findings
  • Measure and optimise the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, engineering, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches with a clear and cohesive marketing plan
  • Define the marketing team's strategy, manage the marketing team's budget, hiring and OKRs

Who we're looking for

  • Extensive experience in product marketing and related marketing functions in the software industry
  • Experience with enterprise Software-as-a-Service offerings
  • Experience supporting an integrated GTM motion that includes sales, channel and services partners, strategic alliances and technology ecosystems
  • Ability to use insights, data, and statistical analyses to drive marketing decisions
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and performing in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate optimally at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications, as well as to create compelling narratives and effectively present ideas
  • Be a hands-on doer actively engaging in tasks, and driving results through practical involvement
