Proud to Be Part of IVC Evidensia
At IVC Evidensia, we're driven by the passion and commitment of our people - across clinical, operational, and support teams. With over 2,500 clinics and hospitals in 20 countries and around 41,000 employees, we work together to care for around 25,000 animals every day. United by a shared purpose - Healthy Animals, Happy Owners - we're proud to champion long-term animal health and welfare through the dedication of every individual across our international network.
About us
At Amery Vets, our vets primarily work from one of our two larger sites, with time also spent at a second branch. This allows you the perfect balance - the chance to work up your cases and build lasting client relationships, while still enjoying a varied and interesting caseload.
Work-life balance that works for you
This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week. Typically, our vets work 4 days (Monday-Friday) plus 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, but we're equally happy to offer 5 shorter days if you prefer. We're committed to supporting a healthy work-life balance and will happily discuss flexibility in working days and hours.
There's no out-of-hours work, though we occasionally care for our own in-patients. Treatment checks are optional and paid.
Find a place to excel
We are a long-established, 100% small animal RCVS-accredited practice serving Alton, Bordon, and Grayshott. Nestled next to the beautiful South Downs National Park, less than an hour from the coast, and within easy reach of London, Gatwick, and Heathrow, our practices are in a fantastic location for work and life.
We pride ourselves on striving for excellence in medicine, surgery, diagnostics, and client care - strengthening the special bond between people and their pets.
Our facilities include:
*Separate cat and dog wards
*Excellent ultrasound equipment (including cardiac probes)
*Idexx VetLab stations for same-day haematology, biochemistry & electrolytes
*Digital radiography
*High-speed dental handpieces & digital dental radiography (Bordon)
*Dedicated surgical theatres
Grayshott, our smaller clinic in a picturesque village, offers consultations only - adding variety to your week.
Join a team that cares
We know working in practice is a big part of your life - so we want it to be enjoyable, rewarding, and supportive. At Amery, you'll be part of a committed and friendly team of 6 Vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, and 7 Receptionists, alongside a visiting Orthopaedic Surgeon for more advanced cases.
We're proud of our positive, collaborative culture where you'll feel supported, encouraged, and challenged to grow.
