We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director - Digital Assets, Product Manager
to join our Digital Assets team. This role is located in London, UK.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Strategy:
• Define and execute near- and long-term product strategies aligned with BNY's mission and market trends.
• Lead jurisdictional expansion strategy for digital assets into Europe and the Middle East.
• Shape industry best practices and regulatory engagement.
Product Design:
• Translate client needs into scalable and compliant product solutions.
• Develop and manage a roadmap for incremental and timely product delivery.
• Ensure organizational readiness for new product launches.
Commercialization Support & P&L Management:
• Support the commercialization strategy and go-to-market plans with head of Commercialization (Europe/ME)
• Manage product-level P&L, including revenue forecasting and cost control.
• Secure internal and regulatory approvals for new product offerings, client segments, and country expansion
Regulatory & Market Analysis:
• Navigate complex regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions.
• Conduct competitive and market research to inform product positioning.
Collaboration:
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Operations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Adhere to and enhance product governance frameworks.
Risk and Control Framework
• Establish and maintain a robust risk and control framework across all digital asset products and services.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, and audit teams to address control gaps and enhance oversight.
Zero Trust Security Framework
• Implement and uphold a zero-trust security model for all systems and processes related to digital assets.
• Ensure continuous authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to monitor and respond to threats in real-time.
• Promote a culture of security awareness and accountability across the organization.
Performance Metrics:
• Establish and monitor KPIs across operational, technical, and commercial dimensions.
• Implement feedback loops for continuous product improvement.
• To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
Sufficient years of relevant experience in digital assets, trading, or financial services product management.
Proven track record of launching and scaling financial products across jurisdictions.
Strong understanding of blockchain, custody, staking, and execution services.
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
