Our UK corporate headquarters is looking to appoint a Director, People Partner. This pivotal role reports directly to the Chief People Officer for International Operated Markets (IOM) and is a key member of the IOM People Leadership Team.

You will collaborate closely with the IOM Chief Restaurant Officer, IOM Marketing Officer, IOM Development Lead, and IOM Strategy & Insights Lead/Chief of Staff. Your responsibilities will encompass:

Job Description

In this role, you will also act as a coach, consultant, and business partner to senior leaders, driving broad people strategies that enhance our organizational capabilities and support our business objectives:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the following functions (Marketing, Development, Field/Restaurants, Strategy & Insights) to develop and implement people plans in line with the overall business strategy and IOM segment-specific goals.
  • Partner with other global function People Partners and Centres of Excellence leads to ensure that market trends and goals are incorporated into Global People priorities and programming.
  • Leverage people analytics and industry data to yield specific insights on ways to improve Global People programming and people-related practices.
  • Anticipate and assess the gaps between business needs and people systems/capabilities within the functions and use information to define the appropriate mitigation strategies/actions.
  • Lead plans to advance enterprise DEI initiatives within the functions to build diverse talent pipeline and inclusive culture.
  • Embed and execute all talent planning activities (goal setting, development planning, succession planning, annual year-end compensation, and performance review process, etc.) with a focus on developing robust teams.
  • Liaise between the IOM segment and People Solutions teams on programming, policies, and practices that target specific people-centric outcomes and proactively leverage expertise to coach leaders through organizational transformation.
  • Work with a great deal of autonomy to lead the development and execution of strategic plans and projects across the IOM segment (i.e. Organisation Design / Workforce Management initiatives, Cultural priorities, Talent Strategies, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable track record of HR Business Partnering / Talent Management / Organizational Effectiveness roles.
    • Experience working across international markets is desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
    • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs, while leveraging insights, to influence the design and deployment of people programs and strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to take initiative, organize others, and drive results through people.
  • Change agent, comfort with candour, and ability to influence leaders/employees.
  • Experience partnering with leadership teams, senior executives, and cross-functional subject matter experts to execute People strategies required.
  • Exceptional communication style with an ability to adapt approach to meet needs of audience.
  • Adept at forging a collaborative approach and aligning team members/resources to achieve outcomes.
