Job Description

As a Director your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of operating model and organisation design transformation programmes.
  • Translate strategic ambitions into actionable organisational structures, capabilities, and workflows.
  • Partner with HR, Strategy, and Executive teams to shape and embed high-impact design decisions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams across discovery, design, and implementation phases to ensure integrated outcomes.
  • Influence governance models, capability-building initiatives, and cultural alignment to support sustainable transformation.
  • Lead strategic business development conversations to uncover opportunities, build trusted client relationships, and shape impactful partnerships.
  • Support go-to-market efforts by managing proposal development, preparing for pitches, and contributing to key engagement activities.
  • Identify and pursue additional opportunities within existing client engagements to grow revenue and deepen impact.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the OTM solution and service offerings, building internal networks to bring the best of OTM to clients.
  • Confidently position the value of OTM's capabilities alongside other service lines to offer integrated, high-value solutions.

Qualifications

Experience, qualifications & requirements

  • Strong track record delivering complex OD / transformation programmes
  • Experience in target operating models, org structures, process redesign, etc.
  • Consulting background (in-house or firm) with comfort in ambiguity and complexity
  • Skilled at engaging Exec sponsors and creating high-trust environments
  • Methodologically flexible: can mix agile, systemic, and classic OD tools

Behavioural Characteristics

  • Self-starter, autonomous, reliable, comfortable working virtually and collaboratively.
  • Strong belief in the collaborative approach to change based on the adage "people support what they help create"
  • Practical knowledge of business and business models. Able to conduct relevant conversations with C-Level executives and staff at all levels, without getting entangled in consultant or management jargon.
  • Able to describe and differentiate between the three core consulting roles of Doctor, Expert and Process. Can act competently in all three knowing which to use in a given situation.
  • Ability to build strong customer & team relationships maintaining them over time.
  • Executive presence. Confident working with Boards, Executives Directors and Senior Management teams as well as front-line staff.
  • High motivation to strengthen and add to your understanding of organisation design.

Technical Characteristics

  • Strong technical skills including MS Office suite (including exceptional Excel skills), MS365 environment, Project management, and CRM products.
  • Strong command of the English language including speaking, reading, & writing capabilities.
  • Demonstrated competence using online collaborative tools like Mural & Miro.
  • Demonstrated simple and logically structured documentation - with ability to translate and filter key highlights from deep debrief group sessions into a clear and concise narrative.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership skills.
