Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife
  • Post registration management qualification
  • MSc in Health-Related Subject

Desirable criteria

  • Doctorate in health related subject

Knowledge

Essential criteria

  • Comprehensive understanding of integrated health social care models
  • Demonstrates breadth and depth of understanding of current NHS policy and ability to interpret and implement practice
  • Extensive senior nursing and managerial experience within a large acute Trust

Training and Experience

Essential criteria

  • Extensive experience in workforce planning and modelling
  • Experience of transformational change management
  • Experience in managing large scale change
  • Experienced in securing funding to support organisational initiatives
  • Experience in developing clinical teams
  • Experience of working with national programmes and initiatives
  • Evidence of managing conflict and deploying successful conflict resolution strategies

Applicant requirements

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
