Who We're Looking For:
The Director, International Marketing brings solid strategic and operational international marketing experience to the job. Having worked with premium consumer good brands on a global scale, ideally in Wellness Tech, CE or SDA, you understand how to build brand equity & reputation, connect brand and product with core target audiences, and effectively launch NPI into multiple markets as well as oversee and execute 360 degree marketing activation plans. This covers: promotional planning, retail trade marketing, category building, on-line (performance) marketing & visibility and consumer & trade event-management.
This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the marketing activities of Therabody International on a global scale. The role is expected to work closely together with the CMO and HQ-based marketing team being 'the voice of international' as well as coordinate the adaptation of globally developed campaigns to suit and support the International GTM and business, while protecting global brand / campaign consistency and (cost) efficient scaling.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Develop and execute international marketing strategies to promote the company's products and services in various global markets with a focus on core P1 markets UK, AU and DE
- New Product Go-to-Market: Prepare, coordinate and manage International New Product launches into the relevant markets and channels owning an effective NPI launch planning for on-time a GTM including product positioning, launch support material, cat-man vision, asset development and onmi-channel implementation as well as launch campaign planning and execution
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and analyze international key market to understand customer needs and trends
- Campaign Management: Adapt global campaigns and or create international marketing campaigns, ensuring they are tailored to different cultural contexts and resonate with local audiences
- Asset creation and implementation: work with Marketing HQ and secure local adaptation of high quality product and brand assets to support the Int. GtM, product visibility and education
- Partnership Building: Establish and maintain relationships with international partners, distributors, and other key stakeholders to expand the company's global presence
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure all international marketing activities comply with local laws and regulations in each target market
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of international marketing activities, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on results to senior management
- Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure cost-effective execution of marketing initiatives
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and develop their skills
The Right Person Would Have
- Proven experience in international (consumer) marketing, 10+ years in a senior marketing role. Experience in the wellness / fitness / lifestyle technology category or in broader CE or SDA (Personal Care) a major plus
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of key International markets including leading retail & on-line-players and trade & customer trends and needs
- Solid understanding and experience with marketing branded products on an owned DTC channel (Therabody.com) as well as marketplaces like Amazon, etc.
- Ability to work closely with the E-commerce Director and Performance Media Director to execute effective on-line presence and campaigns
- Understanding and experience with building presence, visibility, education driving sell-out of Therabody products at point-of-purchase. In-store and as well as on-line
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and strategies to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver results under pressure
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and online advertising techniques
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, as it enhances the ability to communicate with international teams and customers
