Director- Institute of Engineering, Computing & Advanced Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled and effective leader to provide strategic leadership and management of the Institute, in support of the University's and Institute's strategic objectives.

The Institute is currently embedded within the Institute for Business, Industry and Leadership (IBIL) as it grows in size and shape and as such works strategically with the Dean of IBIL and the senior team. The primary focus of this role is develop our education, research and knowledge exchange activities in relation to engineering, computing science and related partnership needs in continuing professional development.

The location of this role may be based at one of our campuses but will require significant time at our Barrow campus.

As Director, you will be expected to deliver growth in student numbers, staff and expertise to ensure we meet our T2030 strategic intentions.
