About Us
Established in 2002, Greenhouse Sports charity is leading the fight for a future where young people are supported and empowered, whatever their challenges, through sport. We coach and mentor young people from deprived backgrounds because the crisis for children living in deprivation is real and it is urgent.
Our magic is the Greenhouse coach, sports coach, trained mentor and role-model combined. Over the last 2 decades these coaches have worked with more than 50,000 secondary school children in London to help them fulfil their potential.
In 2020 we expanded our delivery beyond London for the first time, launching a programme of work to support children earlier in their lives at primary school. This expansion of services is critical to meeting the needs of young people growing up in poverty today, and we are committed to continue expanding these services in the years to come.
The Role
The Impact, Innovation and Engagement Director is responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative strategies and research and that drive social and organisational impact. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation, developing impactful programmes and initiatives, and measuring and reporting on the outcomes. The ideal candidate is a leader, strategic thinker, utilises data for behavioural change and has a passion for social change, excellent project management skills, and a strong ability to foster partnerships and drive results.
You will be comfortable working through tension towards the direction of evidence and use your findings to give every child a fair chance to succeed. You will feel comfortable leading groups of academics and Greenhouse staff with your experience and knowledge in the impact and research space. We have a flexible approach with a mix of home and office working - our offices are based in the heart of Marylebone, London.
