Now, we're looking for a driven and results-oriented Director of Growth to tackle ambitious customer acquisition, retention, and revenue targets. In this role, you will be expected to achieve key milestones such as:

  • Delivering a clear, actionable growth strategy with measurable KPIs.
  • Driving significant increases in customer acquisition and retention in key markets.
  • Scaling Verto's growth operations efficiently and effectively across new and existing regions.

You'll play a pivotal role in shaping Verto's growth trajectory, leveraging your expertise in B2B fintech and cross-border payments to unlock new opportunities and deliver measurable impact.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Developing and Executing Growth Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive growth strategy aligned with Verto's long-term goals, with measurable KPIs for key markets.
  • Driving Revenue Growth: Deliver measurable increases in customer acquisition, activation, and retention, contributing directly to Verto's revenue growth targets.
  • Optimising the Customer Journey: Collaborate with product and marketing teams to enhance customer onboarding, improve conversion rates, and increase lifetime value across target verticals.
  • Market Expansion: Lead go-to-market strategies for entering new regions, leveraging insights from market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity.
  • Scaling Growth Operations: Build scalable systems and frameworks for managing multi-channel campaigns, partnerships, and sales enablement.
  • Building and Leading the Growth Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing growth team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Leveraging Data-Driven Insights: Establish robust analytics frameworks to track performance, inform decisions, and continuously refine strategies for maximum ROI.
  • Representing Verto in the Industry: Act as a thought leader, engaging with stakeholders and representing Verto at conferences, webinars, and other industry events.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior growth, marketing, or strategy role at a high-growth fintech or tech company.
  • Deep understanding of the B2B fintech space, with expertise in cross-border payments and financial solutions for emerging markets.
  • Track record of delivering measurable growth through customer acquisition, retention, and market expansion strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, product-led growth, and multi-channel campaigns.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience presenting at industry events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (MBA or MSc preferred).

What Success Looks Like (First 3-6 Months)

  • Growth Strategy: Deliver a clear, actionable growth plan with measurable KPIs.
  • Revenue Impact: Achieve significant improvements in customer acquisition and retention.
  • Data & Insights: Establish analytics frameworks to measure and optimise growth initiatives.
  • Market Presence: Successfully implement go-to-market strategies in new regions, driving adoption and awareness.
  • Team Alignment: Foster collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment and execution of growth initiatives.

By month six, you will have delivered tangible growth in customers and revenue, established scalable growth strategies, and strengthened Verto's market position.
