Director - Global Partner Sales

Student.com is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our Partner sales teams across the US, Europe and Asia. The Sales Director will report to our Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue growth and managing teams selling to small, medium and large enterprises.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives (currently 5 and expanding) to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new salespeople to build and maintain a strong sales force
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to improve team effectiveness
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our client base
- Set sales quotas and goals for individual team members and the department as a whole
- Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast sales and identify new opportunities
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies
- Oversee complex sales negotiations and assist in closing high-value deals
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any escalated issues
Process Improvement and Reporting
- Continuously refine sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Create and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align strategies and improve product offerings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales either in software, retail, real estate, recruitment or other relevant industries, with at least 4 years in a managerial role
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of sales cycles, methodologies and selling to small and large organisations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools
