Job Description

The focus of the Director of Global Partner Management is to manage relationships with the quantitative & qualitative healthcare market research partners. Main duties will entail negotiation of best rates & rebates, sales project commissioning and operational support, sourcing of new partners, cost control, profit maximization and maintenance of existing relationships and information within a network of agencies.

This is an ideal role for someone who has organizational skills, communications effectively with different levels and departments within the company and maintains positive partner relationships to maximize profitability and internal and external satisfaction. This role will have an emphasis on focusing on global partners, specifically those that cover European markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Including, but not limited to the following:

  • Building and maintaining M3GR's worldwide network of market research partners for research projects. This includes freelancers as well as fieldwork agencies for all items needed. Will be responsible for maintaining partner contact details, as well as their ratings in the M3GR Partner Tool.
  • Vet and manage suppliers/partners as required, ensuring costings are supplied on time and to agreed budget.
  • Conduct and participate in partner meetings to discuss progress, goals, review escalations and set up action plans.
  • Lead, manage and present third party spend reporting and forecasting documentation and analysis.
  • Initiate and maintain preferential pricing schemes with strategic partners.
  • Identify any changes or trends with partner pricing that will impact client pricing and flag to pricing team(s).
  • Work together with the Legal team to put MSAs in place with all partners, ensure partners are compliant with ISO standards and relevant documentation is in place.
  • Take part in strategic project kick offs to identify possible fieldwork issues and most suitable partner for the target.
  • Work with all M3 companies (existing and through M&A) to find common ground for cooperation and support and maximization of preferred partnerships with suppliers.
  • Ensure partners/suppliers are compliant with GDPR, ISO standards and any other relevant documentation, by leading on collection and documentation updates.
  • Support and advise Operations, Compliance and Sales team with problem solving and partner solutions outside of normal standard.
  • Work directly with department leadership team to create quarterly strategies based on company needs and performance.
  • Lead formal and informal Task Forces as required to help devise, foster solutions implementation, and innovation company wide.
  • Independently manage specific strategic projects assigned by leadership and executive team.
  • Conduct strategic meetings with ops and sales leadership to address pain points and areas of Partner improvement.
  • Publish Partner information or announcements relevant to the organization through agreed communication channels (SharePoint, Teams, Email, etc.).
  • Demo, train, provide documentation and troubleshoot with M3 partners/suppliers on M3 products that will be used in conjunction with projects.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years coordinating external fieldwork suppliers in Healthcare Market Research, additional 5+ years in market research industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with supplier coordination and negotiation, including within multiple budgets and currencies
  • Experience specifically with European agencies/suppliers for healthcare market research fieldwork
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with large amounts of data
  • Interest / natural curiosity or previous experience /exposure within the healthcare space
  • Project Management experience - healthcare market research
  • Responsive and able to work well under pressure
  • Good time management and reliable
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Comfortable with new technologies
