Job description
We are looking for a Director to join our Global Mobility Services (GMS) leadership team, in London. GMS is a fundamental part of the People Services group and is currently enjoying accelerated growth and numerous exciting opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Originate, develop and lead strong relationships with clients.
• Lead/oversee multiple and concurrent projects, with the contribution of cross-divisional/group specialists, as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain a credible and influential profile in the Global Mobility market and adapt business strategy in response to changing client demands and external trends.
• Lead Business Development activities for assigned client portfolio enabled by a strong understanding of client requirements.
• Develop revenue growth plans for both existing and new clients.
• Oversee commercial and contractual aspects of an engagement (e.g. fee proposals, budget, fee collection) and ensure these are managed effectively to achieve expected levels of quality and profitability.
• Lead negotiation with external parties/clients.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key senior/board members of existing or new clients.
• Network with clients and relevant professional bodies and associations.
• Share deep knowledge of current market and competitor trends and activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
• ACA/ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent
Experience and Background:
• Extensive experience working in expatriate tax services in a leadership role.
• Experience leading multiple client service teams on concurrent projects.
• A track record of taking ideas and solutions to market and turning them into operating client engagements.
• Experience of involvement in workforce planning and building capability in teams.
• A history of coaching, mentoring and providing stretch assignments to attract, develop and retain colleagues.
• Strong working knowledge of key regulatory, ethics, and independence rules relevant to Big 4 accounting environment.
• Experience of leading client proposals. Including: negotiating contractual positions, agreeing global fee schedules and managing inter-office contractual relationships.
• Experience of originate and leading on cross border equity projects.
