Position Summary:

As the strategic Food and Beverage (F&B) business partner, you will lead the development and execution of property-wide strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the hotel. You will be accountable for the performance and operations of all F&B outlets, including the Booking Office 1869, Hansom Lounge, MI+ME, In-Room Dining, Kitchen, and Event Operations. Working with key departmental leaders, you will ensure brand standards and the St. Pancras service ethos are consistently delivered across all F&B operations. As part of the Executive Committee, you will shape strategic initiatives that enhance guest experience, drive team engagement, and maximise revenue and returns for both ownership and Company.

As a member of the Executive Committee, you will develop and implement property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target customer profile and property employees and provides a return on investment to the owner and the company.

You'll be expected to deliver on the following:

  • Take full accountability for sales, profitability, guest and team satisfaction, operational efficiency, and stock control, ensuring performance is monitored against budget.
  • Analyse financial reports to assess F&B performance and implement action plans to maintain, improve, or grow results.
  • Coach and support the F&B team in managing volume, spend, labour costs, and controllable expenses effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, reporting standards, and both local and brand operating procedures.
  • Promote cross-training to support smooth daily operations and team flexibility.
  • Apply property policies fairly and consistently across the team.
  • Oversee onboarding, ensuring new team members complete departmental induction and receive appropriate training.
  • Develop tailored growth plans for team members based on strengths, development needs, and career goals.
  • Lead the performance review process, providing constructive feedback and development opportunities.
  • Champion recruitment and hiring within the F&B team.
  • Act as a role model, consistently demonstrating professional and brand-aligned behaviours.
