Our P roduct Engineering & D evelopment (PE&D) Team
Our PE&D Team sits at the cross-section between Engineering and Technology, transform ing Engineering and Product Development practises via implementation o f the latest innovations in Digital Engineering and PLM solutions . We support our clients' whole transformation journey by:
• Helping our clients define their own PLM - enabled vision, their strategy to achieve it and the initiatives required to execute upon it
• Driving cutting-edge trends in Product Development and Engineering technology through increased data connectivity, adoption of AI and model-based enterprise aligning these to our clients' business requirement s and objectives
• Partnering with clients and vendors to evaluate, select and implement solutions across the maturity scale, from exploratory proof of concepts to large scale integrations

As a Director in our PE&D team, yo u will be responsible for leading Digital Engineering and PLM projects and initiatives both for our clients and internally within our business and developing new and existing opportunities with our clients .
Your role will include:
• Building our business and your industry network through involvement in sales activity, bid responses and development of thought-leadership and eminence material/presentations
• Taking a leadership role in the development of our internal team sharing your knowledge with others, coaching and mentoring our people and owning internal initiatives
• Delivering our projects end-to-end across assessment, strategy , implementation and operations phases managing diverse technical and functional teams globally , setting direction alongside senior client stakeholders and bringing your e ngineering and t echnology expertise
• Leading functional requirements definition and assessment workshops with senior stakeholders across our clients Engineering and IT functions to understand challenges, priorities and objectives
• Develop ing optimised engineering processes through the product lifecycle alongside our clients aligned to Deloitte's pre-configured business process methodology
Connect to your skills and professional experience
We are looking for someone with an Engineering or PLM background who is keen to sit at the cross-section between Engineering and Technology driving innovative ways to optimise the way products are developed and managed through their lifecycle alongside our clients . We need an individual with a natural propensity for problem solving, who enjoys collaboration across functions and can bring teams with diverse, complimentary skillsets/knowledge together to drive to optimised, cohesive solutions .
Essentials:
• At least 10 years in PLM and digital engineering environments, either in industry or professional services
• Experience developing sales/bid material around PLM or Digital Engineering
• Market leader with eminence in industrial products and/or consumer
• Ba ckground either in engineering (educational or professional) or experience working with PLM (technical or functional)
• Knowledge of Digital Engineering toolchain (e.g. requirements management, analysis toolsets, MBSE, ALM, SAM)
• Experience managing diverse, global teams in a project-based setting
• The ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies to evaluate the emerging and changing business needs of our clients and developments in the industry
• Enjoys working within diverse and hybrid-located teams
• Professional working proficiency in the English language
Desirable:
• Technical or functional understanding of a particular PLM or Digital Engineering technology
• E xperience of a PLM/Digital Engineering implementation or transformation programme /initiative
• Experience of AI and sustainability in PLM
• Eligibility for UK SC Clearance

The home office location for this opportunity can be London, Bristol, Reading, Birmingham, Manchester or Cardiff with hybrid working. Our hybrid model enables our people to collaborate, connect and innovate in both a virtual and physical capacity.
