Living Better Lives in Lancashire... Lead the vision!

You will be joining the team in Lancashire at an exciting time. We have recently launched a vision for the service, Living Better Lives in Lancashire and we have ambitious plans to drive forward innovative, meaningful and strengths-based practice that will make a difference to our communities.

We want the voice of people with lived experience embedded in our service offer and this will be a critical part of both the commissioning cycle and service delivery with our inhouse provider services.

We have started to remodel the way we undertake brokerage within Adult Services by disaggregating and creating a specialist function separate to operational Adult Social Care teams. Your specialist knowledge in this area will directly impact the success of its full implementation.

Our people add our greatest value - We're looking for someone who demonstrates inclusive values, who promotes diversity, both within their thinking, within the thinking of the teams they lead and in ensuring our workforce is representative of the communities we serve.

Great communication and resilience will bring all the above together - you'll need to be politically sensitive and have the ability to communicate with councillors, senior leaders and other influential stakeholders to ensure that the right information is provided to right people at the right time and in the right way. We will support you on every step of your journey and provide development opportunities to enable your career to grow from strength to strength.
