Director - Commercial Services and Pricing

About the Role:
This position is responsible for all aspects of membership, commercial product performance and pricing constructs, including strategy, analysis, and execution. As the Director of Commercial Services, you will establish pricing strategy, discount and promotional strategy, policies, and governance according to Association direction. You will guide commercial performance across all propositions within the agreed audience segments.
You Will:
- Lead the Commercial team in a manner consistent with the Association's Management Charter
- Develop and implement commercial strategies and frameworks according to organisational goals aiming to accelerate growth, directly attributable to pricing / promotions
- Establish global commercial frameworks, policies, discount thresholds and controls working with regions, CAPS, legal contracting, internal audit and finance to guide strategic commercial decisions
- Partner with Insights team to conduct market research to create plans to achieve commercial opportunities
- Provide coaching, advice and support to proposition sponsors and other business teams, on commercial viability of proposition and solutions, advancing pricing as a strategic tool to increase revenue
- Lead the enhancement of tools to support creative commercial strategies, focused on balancing risk/reward; monitor organisation's commercial improvement effort
- Support the Experience leadership team in delivering agreed Return on Experience Investment, cost to serve targets working directly with Experience finance business partner. Monitor and deliver agreed ROMI and ROAS targets
- Manage use of suppliers across Experience to maximise commercial benefits whilst maintaining service quality and responsiveness
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree
- Extensive experience in the following areas: commercial strategy, commercial performance, pricing research, product/portfolio management,
- Experience in budget management and return on investment measurement and delivery
- Market research experience, with the ability to organise and transform data into business recommendations
- Demonstrated people management and team leadership
