Overview

As the Director of Commercial, you will spearhead the strategic direction and operational excellence of our Commercial Property Department, based at the Butters John Bee Professional Services offices at Albion House on Festival Park. Reporting John Phillips CEO at Spicerhaart Group, you will be responsible for developing innovative strategies, nurturing high-performing teams, and maintaining client satisfaction, all while ensuring compliance and financial success.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement growth strategies to maintain market leadership.
• Set and achieve annual and monthly financial targets.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Team Management

• Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent.
• Inspire and motivate staff to ensure high retention and career development.
• Conduct performance reviews and introduce employee satisfaction initiatives.

Client Engagement

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities to expand our portfolio.
• Address client concerns with a professional, solution-oriented approach.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure compliance with RICS standards and industry regulations.
• Oversee audits and lead the department's IT and software strategies.
• Implement advanced property management technologies to enhance efficiency.

Financial Management

• Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets effectively.
• Approve departmental expenses and review pricing strategies.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• MRICS qualification with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Proven leadership in a commercial property surveying business.
• Strong understanding of property legislation and the Staffordshire/South Cheshire market.
• Expertise in commercial estate agency, valuations, and landlord-tenant management.
• Proficiency in modern estate agency systems and tools.
