We are seeking a skilled Director of Butlers to join the Claridge's Butler department.

Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridge's is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance. Claridge's has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the 'Foyer & Reading Room', L'Epicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridge's Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painter's Room.

As a Director of Butlers you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships within the individual Hotel Operations teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Understanding the Butler offering of our competitors and be at the forefront in promoting new ideas.
  • Creating renowned memorable experiences for all our guests.
  • Leading and developing a team of 16 Butlers
  • The overall operation of our luxury feature suites, including the service of food and beverage, private dining within our suites, taking care of guest's laundry including unpacking and packing of guest's luggage.
  • Ensuring the seamless coordination of all services and facilities by liaising with the Director of Rooms and all other hotel departments to ensure our guests stay exceeds their expectations by, anticipating their needs and ensuring an unparalleled experience.
  • Building rapport with each individual guests, in order to create emotional bonds.

Successful candidates for our Director of Butlers opportunity will:

  • Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences that result in lasting memories.
  • Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge's and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
  • Have immaculate personal presentation.
  • Successful candidates will need to have strong Food and Beverage knowledge.
  • Have ideally worked in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Confident, professional and welcoming personality.
