As a Business Finance Director specialising in Anaplan Solutions, you will be at the forefront of shaping, selling, and delivering enterprise performance management (EPM) solutions for our clients. You will combine commercial acumen with technical and delivery expertise, building deep relationships with clients, alliance partners (particularly Anaplan), and internal teams to create measurable impact.
This is a role for a driver, a problem solver and connector - someone who thrives on building trust, developing opportunities, and translating complex client challenges into practical, value-driven solutions powered by Anaplan.
You are someone who has "been there and done it" - You enjoy diving into technology and being hands-on, showing the value that it can bring to our clients. You've built credible knowledge in EPM tools and systems, enabling you to set vision, shape and manage the delivery of strategic engagements for our clients.

As a Director in our team, you'll work closely alongside Partners and Associate Directors and play a key role in influencing and shaping the strategic direction and development of the team, with the opportunity to:
- Own and develop propositions, develop innovative thought leadership and support the growth of our business related to Enterprise Performance Management, especially Anaplan
- Leverage your existing, and develop new, trusted relationships with our clients, identifying and sourcing new opportunities for Deloitte.
- Drive origination of new work and own a pipeline of work within Anaplan across diverse set of clients.
- Demonstrate your leadership capabilities to effectively manage diverse teams, with an inclusive culture where people are recognised for their delivery of client work
- You thrive in large, multidisciplined, complex organisations, being able to network across functions and geographies.
- Lead client engagements and develop strong long-term client relationships as a trusted business advisor to client roles like Chief Financial Officer, Finance Transformation Leaders and Heads of Financial Planning and Analysis as well as other Executives involved in planning
- Play an active role in the recruitment and career development of more junior team members

We are looking for candidates with the following skills:
Essentials
- Proven experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), including professional services, Anaplan solution design, implementation, and business transformation delivery.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving business development, shaping client solutions, and closing opportunities.
- Proven experience in building, developing and owning long lasting key stakeholder relationships across variation of stakeholders and understanding and experience in leading end-to-end sales cycles.
- Trusted client advisor capability, able to build and sustain C-suite relationships and influence senior decision-making.
- Deep knowledge of Finance Transformation, including planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management processes.
- Comfort working with Alliance Partners, particularly Anaplan, and experience co-developing go-to-market propositions or co-selling.
- Leadership and people development skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and grow high-performing teams.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, able to translate complex challenges into clear, compelling narratives.
- Strong programme and engagement management skills, ensuring quality delivery, governance, and client satisfaction.
Desirables:
- Familiarity with other EPM tools (e.g., Workday Adaptive, Oracle, SAP, Pigment) to complement Anaplan expertise.
- Experience working across multiple industries (such as Energy and Resources, Financial Services, Consumer, Public Sector) to broaden sector relevance.
- Knowledge of data integration and modern cloud architectures supporting connected planning.
- Public speaking experience (e.g., presenting at industry events, thought leadership panels).
- Familiarity with Deloitte's broader Technology and Transformation propositions to maximise cross-firm collaboration.
- Exposure to sales pipeline management tools and alliance partner CRM systems.

Finance Transformation
Our clients want to achieve maximum value from digital transformation investments in Finance. That's where we come in. By taking a holistic view of performance improvement, including strategy, process design and technology enablement, we support the smooth operation of transformations.
Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
