At KPMG, you will bring your industry knowledge and technology experience to map customer business challenges to on-premise and cloud technology solutions, shape end-to-end transformational journeys, and deliver real business value to ours clients. In this role, you will be part of some very exciting client engagements, lead pre-sales activities/proposals and be responsible for delivering our portfolio of technology solutions, whilst maintaining deep executive-level client relationships.

As part of this leadership role, you will also inherently lead our brilliant teams, and coach and mentor junior members in their own career progressions whilst contributing to our overall go-to-market activities through building the KPMG brand and being visible as a leading advisor within our clients, the market, and our alliance partners.

This role is crucial in shaping the pre-sales and solution strategy, delivering high-impact presentations, and demonstrating the value of Microsoft Dynamics solutions to potential clients. The Director will also play a key role in building and maintaining strategic relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

The Director role will have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure that pre-sales strategies align with the firm's overall vision and objectives, focusing on driving growth in Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations
  • Develop long-term plans to support business development efforts and establish the firm as a leader in digital transformation
  • Work closely with sales leaders to identify opportunities, define engagement strategies, and tailor solutions to meet specific client needs
  • Work alongside the technical team and delivery large complex solutions
  • Engage with senior executives and partners to discuss strategic priorities, market opportunities, and business challenges
  • Contribute to the firm's business strategy by providing insights on technology trends, competitive landscape, and client needs
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats
  • Lead the design and development of complex, enterprise-level Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations solutions that address client challenges and drive business outcomes
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the capabilities and benefits of Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations
  • Foster a culture of innovation by exploring new technologies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance solution offerings
  • Oversee the creation of detailed proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation that effectively communicate solution value and alignment with client requirements
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations, staying updated with the latest features, updates, and industry best practice
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their business needs and challenge
  • Collaborate with product development, consulting, and implementation teams to ensure alignment and seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery
  • Lead and mentor a team of architects, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to team members, supporting their professional growth and success
  • Identify opportunities for improving pre-sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Gather feedback from clients and sales teams to continuously improve solution offerings and pre-sales practices
  • Lead initiatives to integrate innovative technologies and approaches into pre-sales efforts, ensuring that KPMG remains at the forefront of industry trends
  • Achieve revenue targets by developing and executing strategies to drive sales and increase market share
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations solutions, identifying key market segments and opportunities for growth
  • Provide sales enablement support, including training, collateral development, and competitive positioning
  • Ensure that all solutions comply with relevant regulatory standards, industry best practices, and security requirements
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with solution implementation and client engagements
  • Develop governance models and frameworks to ensure consistent and effective delivery of Microsoft Dynamics solutions

The Person

  • Proven track record in designing and delivering Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations solutions, with deep knowledge of ERP systems, financial processes, and supply chain management
    • Extensive experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting, with a leadership role focused on Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations
    • Strong experience working closely with sales teams to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets
    • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
    • Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and execute innovative pre-sales strategies
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively
    • Deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations, including integration capabilities, customization, and deployment strategies
    • Experience in working in different industries
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and develop effective solutions
    • Embraces a growth mindset for business development, with an ability to influence senior stakeholders

Certifications and Education

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
