About the Role

Base Location:Reading - this is a hybrid role working a minimum of two days a week from the office at the advertised location.

Salary:£41,583 - £48,296 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern:Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

What is the Role?

As the Direct Sales Team Manager you will be part of a small management team responsible for co-ordinating, motivating, encouraging and empowering your team to manage our Direct SME Sales Channel. Your role will include:

- Management of team performance and business SLA's through using best practice, tools and frameworks. You will lead and engage your team to stay motivated and perform against business objectives and KPI's.

- Delivering regular team meetings and one to ones to ensure support for your team and to create a sales environment for success.

- You will build relationships with all stakeholders and act as an ambassador for your team. You will encourage the right behaviour and business leading customer service delivery through your actions and engagements.

- You will ensure that benefit realisation and maximum value is sought from all opportunities.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Previous experience in a managerial role or a relevant role within sales or customer services.

- Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, inspire and develop your team.

- Commercial and competitor awareness, strong analytical skills and a methodical approach.

- Good organisation skills, high professional standards and accuracy ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and meet compliance.

- A good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, Word and Excel are required.
