You can really make a difference in this key leadership role. You'll be a member of an Extended Management Team and will take on a variety of responsibilities to ensure the Direct Payment Team is managed effectively, delivering on key performance indicators, developing the service offer, monitoring the quality of work, and helping us to meet our obligations to our customers which will include the handling of complaint investigations.

You'll need experience of managing a team in service delivery and be self-motivated. Knowledge and experience of delivering change in the workplace and developing value to services. You should have skills in collaborative working, leadership and performance management.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • strong organisational skills
  • experience of being a manager of teams completing complex processes
  • delivering against targets

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
