Maintenance Manager

Hours: 40 hours across 5 days per week

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Atlas Hotels is hiring a Maintenance Manager right now at the Holiday Inn London - Greenwich

You'll need to have experience in maintenance and repairs previously, but you don't need to have worked in hotels before. Plumbing qualifications at NVQ 2 level and mechanical electrical qualifications would be an advantage. Our hotels offer enjoyable job roles with a huge amount of variety day to day. So what does a Maintenance Manager do?

You'll need to make sure your Team are in the right place at the right time. Prioritise, Co-Ordinate and undertake reactive repairs, communicating with colleagues throughout Undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks and compliance checks Assist with 'out of hours' emergency call outs as required. Be Responsible for Ensuring Health and Safety standards are met at all times in your hotel Support the Regional Property Manager with planned refurbishment Proactively share insights with the Operational, Property and Maintenance team to improve overall service to guests You'll need to be organised, methodical and logical and have a 'can do' attitude to get the job done

What experience do you need?

Demonstrable experience in building maintenance Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems of work or similar Plumbing qualification preferred NVQ2 level Computer literate (for compliance and audit tasks) Mechanical electrical qualification and experience in water management compliance an advantage. Experience in leading and developing a small team.

Technical

Prioritise and pro-actively undertake reactive repairs, communicating with key stakeholders/colleagues throughout Undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner Maintain adherence to all statutory compliance checks via our Workplace Asset Management (WAM) system, ensuring all additional Health and Safety standards are met in the defined timescales Undertake compliance tasks such as water management Assist with 'out of hours' and emergency call outs, as required Support Regional Property Manager with planned refurbishment and/or capital investment with a 'can do' attitude, as required Pro-actively share insights and experiences with the broader Property and Maintenance Team to enhance overall services
