We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Digital Workplace Product Manager to lead our implementation of Service Now and Jira. In this pivotal role, you will own the product and roadmap, ensuring these platforms meet our business needs through diligent user requirement gathering, prioritisation, and technical backlog management. With a primary focus on Service Now, you will have the opportunity to deliver impactful solutions that make a real difference.

Key responsibilities:

  • Gather user needs and turn them into actionable requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap for Service Now and Jira.
  • Prioritise and manage the technical team's backlog to deliver key features.
  • Communicate product vision and progress with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the timely delivery of new features and improvements.
  • Create and deliver training materials to help users effectively use Service Now and Jira.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for better efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for platform maintenance and updates.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of Service Now and Jira to ensure they meet user needs.

What you will bring:

  • Extensive experience of product management, particularly with Service Now and Jira.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT service management and agile methodologies.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people.
  • Good understanding of user experience principles and how they apply to software products.
  • Relevant experience of project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise in getting the most out of your investment in Service Now and Atlassian products.
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering user training and support materials.
  • Knowledge of compliance and security standards related to IT service management tools.

Our approach to hybrid working

While our offices are places for you to connect, collaborate and celebrate with colleagues, having flexibility about where you work is just as important for doing your best work and for your wellbeing. So, we don't have a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to how we work across Penguin Random House UK.

For this role, there are regular meetings and activities that you will need to attend in person mainly at our offices in London, with occasional travel. Outside of these moments, you can choose to work remotely. We are happy to discuss this arranging further with you during the recruitment process.

What you can expect from us:

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 dependent on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
