Are you a dynamic ecommerce professional with a talent for driving online sales and optimising the customer experience? We are seeking a Digital Trading Manager to join our team in this newly created role, which will be central to the continued growth of our online B2C business.

In this position, you'll be at the heart of our Ecommerce strategy, working closely with our team to maximise the commercial performance of our website. Your primary focus will be on enhancing sales, profitability, and conversion rates across all devices, ensuring that our online presence meets and exceeds commercial targets. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing trading plans, launching new products, and managing promotional activities-all aimed at driving growth.

Your role will also involve managing the performance of our online inventory, collaborating with stock and warehouse teams to ensure accurate forecasts, and optimising product listings. As a key driver of conversion rate optimisation, you'll manage website pricing, both full price and promotional, and ensure the seamless functionality of the site, implementing enhancements like cross-selling features and tailored product recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute trading strategies to meet commercial targets, including sales and conversion goals.
  • Manage product launches and promotional activities to maximise visibility and drive engagement.
  • Oversee inventory performance, providing forecasts and optimising product listings.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing teams to align trading activities with strategies across SEO, email, PPC, and social advertising.
  • Analyse trading patterns and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Drive on-site optimisation, including navigation, product recommendations, and conversion rate improvements.

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in similar roles, with a strong background in online B2C and a solid understanding of website functionality, digital marketing, and customer experience. You should be confident in managing a team, as well as collaborating with stakeholders across the business. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly are essential for success in this role.
