What you will do as a DIGITAL SKILLS & CAPABILITIES DEVELOPMENT MANAGER?

Residing in the Stronger25 Office working alongside our Corporate Director Transformation, Director Digtial Technology & Enterprise Architecture Manager.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual who has a proven record of acting in the capacity of or supporting an organisations digital skill building as part of a wider digital transformation agenda. In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing our digital skills development programs that align with our organisational goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Digital Skills identification: Identify the essential digital skills for now and in the future for the different roles and positions in our organisation aligning to our company and digital strategy and in collaboration with the business.
  • Digital skills assessment: Develop or leverage digital skills assessment tools to identify the current level and perceived aspirational skill levels.
  • E-learning development: Innovating how we provide and consume digital learning skills, ensuring we have personalised career journeys for our people to develop into the digital roles of the future.
  • Digital Skill Development: Design and develop engaging and effective learning materials and programs to enhance digital skills.
  • Embracing Digital: Create desire for developing digital skills and taking away hurdles and barriers people face in embracing digital in their work.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple digital skill building development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with our Director Digital Technology, Technical Directors, Knowledge Groups, Leading Professionals and leaders in our learning department to identify digital skills and digital learning needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Supplier management: Identifying learning partners, automation partners and other suppliers to support our organisation to develop digital skills
  • Technology Integration: Leverage systems and other digital tools to enhance the learning experience and track progress
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Analyse training feedback to continuously improve digital skill-building initiatives and ensure they meet the needs of the organization.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • Bachelor's degree in digital engineering/information technology and an interest in education and instructional design.
  • 2-4 years of experience in digital skill building or a related field.
  • Proven track record in identifying, assessing and developing digital skills for a business unit and/or organisation wide.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other digital learning tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and build strong relationships.
