The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Manager to join Ashurst Advance Digital, our legal technology and experience powerhouse. Our Digital Services team designs, develops and delivers integrated solutions that combine our legal expertise with best-in-class technology and user design principles to enhance the delivery of our legal services to our clients.

You will work as part of a global team, collaborating with lawyers, stakeholders and clients in the successful delivery of complex digital solutions. In this role you will be responsible for helping to design new digital services and solutions, overseeing the development and implementation of such services and solutions, and generating new business for the team.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, acting as a role model for organisational values while coaching, supervising and developing team members and contributing to the strategic direction of the team.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, adapt to different client styles and behaviours, and collaborate effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Deep technical experience developing solutions using document automation, databases, AI document review tools, workflow platforms and collaboration technologies for legal and business use cases.
  • Experience designing and developing innovative digital solutions, including creating proof-of-concepts for new services and delivering scalable solutions for client deployment.
  • Practical experience with Microsoft technologies, particularly SharePoint and the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps), alongside advanced Excel capabilities including macros, pivot tables and complex formulas.
  • Experience engaging with clients and stakeholders, managing matters, building strong relationships and contributing to marketing, business development and cross-selling initiatives.
  • A strong delivery mindset with meticulous attention to detail, experience applying business analysis and/or project management methodologies, and the ability to maintain high quality standards while driving continuous improvement and innovation.
