Job Description
Job Purpose
The role sits within our Digital Technology & Solutions (DTS) function and part of a broader team responsible for leading digital transformation and change across our Professional Services business. With a specific focus on our ABS (Audit & Business Services) business line, you will be responsible for defining, prioritising and implementing the capabilities and platforms for our ABS business. You will work closely with the ABS leadership, key stakeholders and the broader DTS teams to identify new and emerging opportunities to further advance ABS as a business in the tech world.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and prioritise the ABS digital product(s) roadmap and backlog, collaborating with the ABS business to align with the ABS business strategy
- Product ownership of the core ABS applications - see below.
- Ensure that any new platform or service complies with information security and data protection standards and regulations. This includes implementing and maintaining security measures to protect sensitive data, as well as ensuring that the platform/service is regularly updated to address any security vulnerabilities
- Responsible for developing & implementing Excel add-ons, Power Query and reporting in Power BI. For example, creating custom Excel add-ons to create efficiencies and productivity gains for the practitioners, as well as using Power Query to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
- M&A: support the integration of new offices and colleagues into the Evelyn Partners environment from an ABS application/platform perspective
- Research and oversee GenAI use cases to explore and test opportunities
- Coordinate RPA related activities liaising with the internal RPA development team
- Maintain Legacy PowerApps and ,monitoring costs against budget for individual clients.
Qualifications
Key Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of the audit industry and related software e.g. Caseware and Inflo
- Experience in product management or product ownership
- Excellent communication and collaboration skill
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Professional Qualifications and Education
Understanding of ICAEW Regulations: As a Senior Manager for ABS Digital in a professional services practice, it is important to have an understanding of the regulations set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). These regulations govern the conduct of members, firms, and students, and ensure that high professional and ethical standards are maintained.
