We are on the hunt for a Project Manager to join one of our Digital Marketing solution teams. You'll be passionate about all things digital, well versed in digital delivery methods, a workflow geek at heart and itching to be at the centre of our team evolution to deliver amazing work, enable collaboration and have fun while doing it.

You'll be working within one of our highest performing, fast paced solution teams that deliver Merchandise and Customer Experience, integrating with multiple facets of the Samsung ecosystem. The team is enabled through our data and strategic insights to produce optimum UX & technical solutions for Samsung.com.

The delivery is managed and supported by a combination of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall principles. Your experience enables you to successfully plan the delivery of a quick turn-around projects from conception to go-live using dedicated solution teams.

You'll work closely with our Programme Director; senior discipline leads and clients in planning and managing high profile projects that form the backbone of Samsung's .com e-commerce and customer experience.

What the day to day looks like...

  • Deliver, shape and manage small to medium size projects for.com working into a wider client roadmap and senior Samsung stakeholders.
  • Handle multiple concurrent activities/projects - through effective management of backlog items, planning and controlling of sprints, impact and challenges.
  • Manage the delivery of promotions, offers, landing pages, feature improvements, performance marketing and other digital outputs to a strict deadline.
  • Juggling multiple deadlines concurrently and aligning the delivery teams on expected deliverables and timeline.
  • Manage communication between key stakeholders - client, suppliers, European business units, Cheil HQ and internal teams where necessary.
  • Work closely with the allocated requirements mangers at SE in and felicitate joint Agile ceremonies.
  • Responsible for project budget ownership and management of the annual retainer, providing regular budget reporting to clients and internal teams.
  • Develop and own key project articles: project plans and timeline, budgets, utilisation reports, SoW, sprint, risk and issue logs.
  • Evaluate, coordinate and align with the team to assure quality and approach is managed to acceptance criteria and project expectations.
  • Turn clients' requirements into detailed stories and scopes of work where appropriate. Collate requirements along with assets into a comprehensive brief for the delivery teams.
  • Be a source of support for team members, responsible for ensuring the correct end to end process is followed and team members are engaged in solutions.
  • Forecast, plot and book the appropriate resources necessary to deliver to the project and roadmap.
  • Able to challenge how we approach a brief, find solutions and communicate in a clear and concise manner to internal teams and clients.
  • Using your experience in collaborative working methods, unite the team in working sessions, retrospective and sprint planning.
  • Assist the functional/team management and clients by providing project status and advice
  • Work with teams to assure quality and reviews are conducted with discipline leads. Delivery, Data, Strategy, UX, Design, Technical and Publishing

Strings to your bow...

  • Project management experience of 5 years or more.
  • Managing project budgets in excess of £500k and multiple project workstreams over a single year.
  • Highly experienced in the management and delivery of digital projects, in particular websites and campaigns.
  • A champion and awareness of best practices in digital delivery: UX, design, data and development to enable best in class products for .com.
  • Evidence of delivering small and medium digital products for a website as PM
  • Understanding of both Waterfall and Agile Methodologies.
  • Experienced in delivering in an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environment
  • Experience in delivering deadline driven online activities in Waterfall.
  • Experienced in managing projects from start to completion within JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience of managing change including timeline and scope and resource management.
  • Client facing and presentation building skills - ability to articulate a plan and approach is essential
  • Track record of delivering digital marketing with CMS experience (ideally AEM)
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritize multiple time sensitive tasks across multiple service teams.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical and UX issues and dependencies. - You are comfortable with data/infrastructure/back-end web technologies.
  • Possess commercial acumen, can make decisions based on commercial impact.
  • Proficient at MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel, Project, as well as Jira and Confluence.
  • Able to learn and use a new tool
