In the community, we deliver services that focus on people with long term conditions living well outside hospital, through our integrated locality teams working with district and community nursing teams. Community members of staff also provide care to patients in their homes and from a number of clinics, health centres and GP surgeries.
Job overview
We're recruiting to a number of vacancies for Digital Project Managers, on both a permanent and fixed term/secondment basis, who will support the delivery of key digital projects.
These will include projects to support the delivery of EmPoweR, our programme to bring a full Electronic Patient Record (EPR) to the Trust, as well as other key projects that will support our digital transformation.
The successful candidates will work in partnership with colleagues to ensure their projects are delivered on time, to budget and to agreed quality standards.
The posts will be based at either Conquest Hospital, St Leonards or Eastbourne DGH with the requirement to travel to other sites as required and opportunities for home/flexible working.
Main duties of the job
We're looking for Digital Project Managers who can manage projects using PRINCE2 methodology, demonstrating excellent risk management and strong communication and leadership skills.
Our ideal candidates will have experience of successfully implementing change in a complex organisation, working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and professional groups as part of a Digital Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
They will be able to provide vision and direction to ensure the project team delivers to schedule, and demonstrate the ability to analyse and review complex facts and information, developing options to support decision making.

Essential criteria
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent.
- Track record of delivering to PRINCE 2 methodology
- PRINCE 2 Foundation Certified
- Documented CPD to masters Degree equivalent Level

Essential criteria
- Relevant experience working in a health or local government setting; good understanding of NHS decision-making procedures.
- Understanding of challenges around the national and local drivers for change.
- Experience of successfully implementing change in a complex multi organisational environment with a wide range of stakeholders and professional groups.
- Delivering complex projects with Board level engagement.
- Management and delivery of reports at Board level including financial analysis.
- Communicating complex information to audiences who have no knowledge of the area
