Our Client Communications team continues to grow and we are now looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to join our vibrant Bristol office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a similar role where they have gained digital project management experience from concept to implementation, and experience of testing digital products.

This role is based within the Digital Engagement section of the Client Communications Team, comprised of specialists that support XPS Group's "Digital First" ambitions. The team is located across the XPS Group's national offices.

The Role

As a Digital Project Manager, you will work on projects varying in sizes where your areas of responsibility will include:

  • Online requirements gathering to understand project's digital scope (typically web and/or portal related)
  • Identification and delivery of the agreed project scope
  • Setup and maintenance of all project documents (PID, Plan, RAID Log, etc)
  • Allocating tasks and communicating deadlines to team members
  • Tracking and reporting of all project activities
  • Providing reports and updates to senior management teams, other workstreams and clients
  • Facilitate and chair calls and meetings
  • Identifying and managing risks and issues
  • Managing changes to scope and change requests Communication (written and verbal) to internal stakeholders, clients and other 3 rd parties
  • The successful completion of the project to the agreed milestones and live dates
  • Tracking and charging of any fees associated with the project delivery

  • Web build
  • Platform transition from legacy to new platforms
  • Portal implementation
  • Business change projects
  • Development of new systems/enhancement of existing systems

Your profile

Essential Criteria

  • Project Management experience from concept to implementation.
  • Experience of digital project management and/or product management
  • Experience of testing digital products
  • Positive and Proactive approach.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to all levels.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities.
  • Able to take ownership and responsibility for own work.
  • IT proficient in MS Office, including MS Project.
  • Ability to create and manage documentation.
  • Able to work as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Flexible approach to work pressures.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation.
  • Strong belief in adhering to deadlines and quality service.
  • Ability to mentor/coach less experienced colleagues.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and build long-term working relationships at all levels, both internal and external of the organisation.
  • Able to recognise the need for a customer focused approach to their delivery both in terms of quality and exceeding customer expectations.

Desirable Criteria

  • Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent, candidates with strong A-Level qualifications (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Prince 2 Practitioner qualification.
