Job Purpose

We're looking for a dynamic Digital Retail Platforms Manager to support the transformation of HMUK's digital customer experience. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to own and evolve our digital retail platforms, working across the business to deliver innovative, seamless experiences that drive customer conversion, boost retention, and power business growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Project management of key digital projects
  • KPI reporting for all HMUK digital platforms
  • Leading conversion rate optimisation programme including A-B testing
  • Tagging management and tracking (in conjunction with Brand Communications Manager
  • Lead the development and optimisation of HMUK's digital customer experience across key platforms, including national and retailer websites, customer app, and e-commerce
  • Deliver new digital platform projects that drive engagement, improve customer experience, and boost conversion
  • Act as the key liaison between the central European team and HMUK's commercial and technical teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration
  • Coordinate with internal business stakeholders and external technical agencies to deliver high-quality digital solutions
  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical briefs with a clear understanding of limitations and risks
  • Apply technical knowledge (e.g., APIs, XML, SQL, basic web development) to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation
  • Use critical and abstract thinking to ensure strategic, scalable, and user-focused digital developments.

Person Specification

  • Extensive digital project management and delivery
  • Experience with digital platform management
  • Experience managing digital agencies / web developers
  • Clear understanding of driving a project from scope to launch
  • Experience managing executives
  • Website management experience, ecommerce experience desirable
  • Conversion rate optimisation experience
  • Significant experience of web analytics and an understanding of HTML (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to build bridges between technical and non-technical staff, Ability to coach and train users where required
  • Ability to influence and guide stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Analytically minded with a good understanding of data
  • Strong organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise
  • Proven ability to solve problems and find innovative solutions to challenges
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel skill
