Digital Performance and CRM Manager (Maternity Cover)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Ecommerce Director UK&I, the role of Digital Performance and CRM Manager is to own the Performance marketing channels of the brand and to the grow ghdhair.com UK and Ireland business. The chosen candidate will have significant experience in Media, PPC, SEO, Affiliates and CRM, either having worked for a brand or agency side with good client experience. The role is responsible for developing & implementing the strategy for customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty, with a strong focus on CRM - personalisation, segmentation, customer journeys and creative strategy. You will also be responsible for defining ghd's lifecycle marketing roadmap, analysing key customer KPIs as well as leading and developing our 3rd party agency and Assistant Digital Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Develop the Media strategy and disruptive Plans for the brand and Categories, in liaison with the Head of Brand & Online Marketing to reach all long term and short term KPIs
  • Develop multi-channel performance communications strategies, across CRM, Paid Social, Paid Search, SEO, Display, Affiliates, SMS and on-site messaging.
  • Manage and optimise the UK&I digital marketing budget to maximise performance and ROI.
  • Forecast and optimise performance to meet growth and revenue targets for ghdhair.com by Category and integrate digital strategy into offline and third-party initiatives.
  • Work with local digital agencies to optimise the paid search and paid social channels and to ensure campaigns are targeted, executed with excellence, on-time and on-brand. Managing all PPC ad copy creation and keyword strategies.
  • Work closely with the UK&I Brand Marketing team to ensure the brand strategy is communicated succinctly through the performance marketing channels (Paid Media, Paid Social, SEO, display, Affiliates, paid search, CMP + new channels)
  • Work alongside the UK&I Senior Social & Content Manager to curate the paid social content strategy that will deliver a strong ROI, telling the brand and category stories.
  • Develop and establish clear goals for each campaign alongside robust KPIs, to ensure activity is continually delivering against plan. With the purpose of identifying opportunities for future improvement and driving efficiencies within specific channels.
  • Optimising our customer marketing platform (CMP). Developing the strategy to improve CTR, CVR and growth rate developing customer acquisition, retention and loyalty KPIs.
  • Work closely with local affiliate partners and third parties to drive customer acquisition and implement initiatives to grow the affiliate channel including organising promotions, managing affiliate approvals and sales validations.
  • Work with wider digital and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across relevant digital channels (website, social, video).
  • Optimise audiences and targeting strategy on a brand and channel level to maximise ROI of digital spend including developing test plans.
  • Leverage new digital initiatives to engage with consumers to enhance brand experience.
  • Build long-term, positive top to top relations and partnerships with agencies to identify opportunities to drive loyalty and increase ghd's first party data and customer LTV.
  • Strong strategical thinking and concrete sense execution within global framework required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years digital marketing experience in a D2C brand, premium retail, agency side and/ or an ecommerce environment.
  • Experience in optimising performance marketing strategies and campaigns across search, affiliate, retargeting, paid social, programmatic, CRM and SEO channels to hit revenue targets and maximise ROI.
  • Expertise in paid search, paid social and managing a digital agency.
  • Experience in optimising CRM strategies and campaigns and aligning with other digital channels
  • Experience using well known ESPs like Emarsys, Salesforce, Bloomreach etc.
  • Experience of digital media planning and budgeting and MMM.
  • Experience in driving growth and performance in CRM, implementing best practices, data hygiene & deliverability.
  • Experience in working with affiliate networks, publishers, and third-party partners as well as optimising affiliate programmes.
  • Resilience and agile to the dynamic nature of the ever-changing market and business needs.
  • Instinctive commercial flair to drive decisions that improve KPIs and performance.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability, can give examples of taking measured risks to achieve results.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a forensic understanding of account performance, and high proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Enthusiastic, energetic outgoing, with a positive 'can do' attitude, determined to win and a passion for ecommerce and all things digital.
