This role will have overall responsibility of driving a culture of testing, iteration and customer journey improvement across Group & Banner teams.

Empower key stakeholders to evolve their testing & product roadmap through customer journey analysis, data-driven recommendations and hypotheses. The role sits in the wider Digital Analytics team, in the broader data organisation and will play a pivotal role across Group & Banner ecommerce and product teams.

What's the job?

  • Oversee the relationships with key stakeholders across Group & Banner teams (B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama & Brico Depot), including a focus on ways of working and supporting them with customer journey and testing initiatives
  • Manage data-driven optimisation initiatives across Group, including but not limited to increasing the use and adoption of analytical tools in Banners, page-level optimisation and leveraging customer journey funnels for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Ownership and overall responsibility for the analysis of key website & app journeys including turning insights into tangible next steps in conjunction with Group and Banner Product/Ecommerce teams
  • Manage the work and prioritisation of the Digital Optimisation team including line management responsibility for 2 x direct reports
  • Support the evolution of the testing roadmap across Client-side/Server-side testing including technical capabilities which empower Banner teams to do more
  • Equip the banner teams with the tools and knowledge to analyse data, identify trends, and translate insights into action and recommendations
  • Overall responsibility for the contract management and relationships of Customer Experience & Testing tools on behalf of Group & Banner
  • Build clear and insightful documents to help stakeholders understand the performance of key business areas
  • Work collaboratively with the Group Measurement team to feed in technical requirements to improve tracking on our website and app
  • Support the wider analytics community at Kingfisher with knowledge sharing and collaboration across Group and Banner functions

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience in a CRO/Customer Experience/Optimisation role
  • Experience of leading and managing a team of analysts
  • Experience of working in or alongside a Digital Analytics/data environment
  • Experience working across a range of tools:
  • Digital analytics tools (Google Analytics or equivalent)
  • Digital experience platforms (Contentsquare/Hotjar/Medallia or equivalent)
  • AB Testing Tools (Optimizely or equivalent)
  • Visualisation tools (Looker Studio, Power BI or equivalent)
  • A track record of using data to drive insights and recommendations
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to draw concise insights across multiple data sets
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work collaboratively across different teams
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects concurrently
  • An inquisitive thinker and team-player who is adept at using data to optimise and improve digital experience
