Tasks and Responsibilities
The Paid Media and Digital Campaign Manager will play a pivotal role in driving performance across digital sales, online interactions driving in-store sales, Customer Service sales, and lead generation across global and local websites. You will help improve the efficiency of marketing campaigns, provide valuable insights through data analysis, enhance customer engagement through personalised marketing strategies and ultimately drive business growth.
• Building a digital marketing roadmap with clear strategies to increase the influence, adoption and impact of digital marketing in Europe's commercial growth plans.
• Implementing best-in-class digital and data driven marketing strategies across paid, owned and earned media and provide a comprehensive view of the success of marketing campaigns and their overall impact on driving conversions.
• Measuring and driving the most efficient Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), Cost Per Conversion (CPC), Cost Per Lead (CPL) and similar metrics related to short-term sales acquisition from non-account customers (consumer and business customers) and lead generation (business customers).
• Reporting on the current performance of digital marketing activities across multiple markets with different levels of maturity and varied methods of conversion tracking.
• Analysing websites and campaigns' performance data to derive actionable insights and recommendations for optimising marketing strategies across European markets.
• Collaborating with marketing teams and agency partners to optimise the campaigns based on the established KPIs to drive higher performance.
• Be the regional liaison for global digital marketing initiatives and prioritising the deployment of global initiatives in European markets.
• Improving adoption and implementation of core digital marketing programs - content marketing, Search Engine advertising (SEA), Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), and social media amongst markets.
• Managing the development, deployment and country handover of content hub and digital platforms.
• Working closely with country marketing teams, digital sales and retail teams for continuous development and deployment of automation programs that support the goal of growing and acquiring customers.
• Acting as a digital performance consultant and coach, providing on-the-job capability building for local marketing teams and the broader DHL Express community.
• Looking for new opportunities focused on revenue growth, loyalty and a better customer experience through marketing automation solutions.
• Driving new digital innovation projects in marketing by bringing the latest thinking in AdTech and Martech.
• Collaborating with IT, digital services team, and other relevant teams to troubleshoot issues and optimise marketing technology platforms.

Your Profile - Skillsets and Attributes
• 5-6+ years of hand-on experience in paid search and paid social is a must.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in digital marketing, such as Web Analytics, Google Ads or SEO certifications, would be advantageous.
• User Experience qualification - preferred but not essential
• Experience with website content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
• Experience in Photoshop or Canva highly advantageous.
• Advanced knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies for lead generation, digital sales, in-store sales, and Customer Service sales.
• Proficiency in using data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically.
• Proven skills in deriving insight from complex data to make data-driven recommendations for improving marketing effectiveness.
• Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and lead management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Confident with the ability to interact, communicate and present ideas to other countries digital marketing managers and senior executives.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to continuously improve and learn.
• Results driven, experienced individual that can reliably meet goals & deadlines.
