Job Title: Digital Manager – Supply Chain

Salary: Circa £62,000-£68,000 dependent on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define, develop and implement the digital procurement strategy for the Supply Chain function
  • Work with senior leaders on a business partnering basis to achieve buy in and support for digital procurement priorities
  • Project Manage the transition of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) and other change programmes for the Naval Ships business
  • Manage multiple programme e-procurement toolsets and master data including the identification of priority areas for improvement
  • Drive engagement and communication within the function to ensure digital and analytics tools are well understood and optimally utilised
  • Identify, evaluate and mitigate critical risks associated with systems operation
  • Line management of 5 e-procurement and master data specialists

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Proven experience in delivering IT, digital, or digital procurement projects using recognised project management methodologies
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and a solid understanding of data governance
  • Team management experience, ideally within IT or digital procurement
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies that drive lasting change with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills

Desirable

  • Degree in an IT or procurement-related field, with a project management qualification (APM preferred)

The Digital Supply Chain Team:

You will play a key role in supporting multi-programme supply chain teams across the UK, Canada, and Australia, enabling them to engage with suppliers through a suite of digital tools. You will lead the transformation of these tools, replacing or optimising them with innovative technologies to embed a fully electronic, end-to-end process that enhances efficiency.

You will also drive data analytics and improve data integrity, providing key stakeholders with valuable insights to support informed decision-making and enhance business performance.
