Overview

The Global Digital Manager will be a core part of the Global Digital teams for Nomad Foods, working hand-in-hand with the Digital Director to drive best in class planning, activation, and local market execution working closely with the Digital Strategy and Account teams, and the Digital Hub. This role sits at a cross-section between Global Planning and Strategy and Local Planning and Activation and offers an exciting opportunity to drive change at Global level and work closely with Nomad Foods Europe's 17 key markets and their centralised digital hub to drive adoption and impact.

Nomad Foods is the largest frozen food company in Europe where they are proud owners of a portfolio of leading niche brands which include Birds Eye, Findus and Iglo. They manufacture, sell and distribute a range of branded frozen food products across 17 European countries with the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Sweden and France representing our five largest markets.

The right candidate will be able to work closely to (and receiving great exposure to) various teams and stakeholders giving her/him the opportunity to learn across agency functions and be part of multiple exciting digital projects. This will, ultimately, help define their career path within the agency group.

Responsibilities

This right candidate will be expected to manage a broad range of digital workstreams, collaborating with stakeholders across both Zenith and Nomad.

1. Planning & Strategy

a. Support the Global Digital Director in the production and roll-out of Digital strategies to both Global and Local teams that are insightful, innovative, integrated and effective.

b. Provide support in overseeing the successful planning and activation of this strategy across markets through the centralized Digital Hub.

c. Management of strategic workstreams including test and learn and management of our Google, Facebook and TikTok strategic partnerships to maximise results and ensure adoption within business.

d. Implementation of clear measurement and process to ensure planning, monitoring, and optimization of core business metrics across all Publicis and Nomad stakeholders.

2. Market Coordination & Network Management

a. Collaborate closely with the centralized Digital Hub teams to plan and activate campaigns strategically and effectively in line with Global strategic direction, while capturing local market nuances and considerations.

b. Support in defining processes and governances of the Digital Hub and ensure this is fully entrenched within the existing business ways of working across Global business and Local markets.

c. Work with Local market teams to share relevant information and ensure understanding & adoption of Digital strategies, structures and operations.

3. Client Servicing & Management

a. Support management of key client stakeholders across digital tasks and workstreams.

b. Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to be seen as a key point of reference on the Nomad team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be someone with the experience and the desire to lead the strategic digital planning and governance of the Nomad Foods account.

Nomad have a strong focus on leveraging strategic data and technology to unlock smarter planning and measurement. The right candidate will therefore need to understand and articulate how technology - ad verification, dynamic messaging - can enable brands to engage with consumers and influence their behaviour.

You will enjoy working with data and have very strong attention to detail. As a strong team player who is keen to learn and results-driven, you will come into this role ready to take responsibility for the effective implementation of activity within the accounts and be eager to share your knowledge with the wider team.

Experience Required

Preferred background in media/marketing with experience across:

• At least two years' experience in digital planning and activation including experience in using tools such as CM360, DV360, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Facebook Business Manager

• Strong understanding of media research, measurement, and insight tools - you know their strengths/weaknesses, and when and how to effectively use them

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Team training and leadership skills

• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, particularly explaining technical concepts to those in non-technical roles

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

• Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives

• Strong Excel knowledge and PowerPoint skills

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

• Project management and communication skills to be able to engage with multiple stakeholders to drive delivery of projects.

• Highly organized with previous examples of delivering projects in a timely and effective manner.

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high standard of work.

• Evidence of being solution driven and innovative with how they drive performance and delivery.

• A positive can-do attitude is essential. We're looking for someone who is keen to get up to speed quickly and always with a smile on their face!
