About the client....

Essity is a global Hygiene and Health company. They are "Dedicated to improving well-being through leading hygiene and health solutions". They have a stronghold in Europe with the Americas and Asia accelerating.

They are mostly present in feminine and incontinence care, as well as kitchen and toilet hygiene across both B2C and B2B.

They believe in brand building and, as such, have developed purpose-led campaigns that take a stand, e.g., Viva La Vulva in 2019 or Periodsomnia 2023 (award-winning campaigns), celebrating women's intimate V zone.

They also have a strong focus on taboo breaking, which is a key pillar of each brand's marketing strategy.

We have been partnering with them since 2013, and the partnership is growing. We do not stand still and always look to evolve, improve, and innovate.

About the role....

The Global Digital Strategy Manager will be a core part of the Global team, working to drive best-in-class planning, activation, and local market execution, working closely with the Strategy, Account, and central activation teams. This role sits at a cross-section between Global Digital and Planning and offers an exciting opportunity to drive change at the Global level and work closely with Essity markets globally to drive adoption and impact.

The right candidate will be able to work closely with (and, in return, have great exposure to) various teams and stakeholders, giving them the opportunity to learn across agency functions and be part of multiple exciting strategic, tech, and digital projects. This will, ultimately, help define their career path within the agency group.

Responsibilities

About the work....

In this role you will manage a wide range of digital workstreams and collaborate with stakeholders across Zenith and Essity.

Digital Planning & Strategy

    • Develop and implement global digital strategies: Create and drive integrated global media strategies for major campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and brand positioning
    • Work with media partners and internal on activating media plans globally
    • Source new media partners to expand Essity's remit
    • Manage strategic workstreams, including test and learn, and manage our strategic partnerships to maximise results and ensure adoption within the business
    • Implementation of clear measurement and process to ensure planning, monitoring, and optimization of core business metrics across all Publicis and Essity stakeholders

Client Servicing & Management

    • Support management of key client stakeholders across digital tasks and workstreams
    • Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to be seen as a key point of reference on the Essity team
    • Media Owner relationship management
    • Be the Go-to-person for all guidance & support for Essity
  • Network management

    • Relationship building skills across multiple geographies with the ability to build rapport and establish strong working relationships
  • Qualifications

    What you need to succeed....

    Previous experience and the desire to lead the strategic digital planning and client management.

    Essity have a strong focus on leveraging strategic data and technology to unlock smarter planning and measurement. You will therefore need to understand and articulate how technology - ad verification, dynamic messaging - can enable brands to engage with consumers and influence their behaviour.

    You will enjoy working with data and have very strong attention to detail. As a strong team player who is keen to learn and results-driven, you will come into this role ready to take responsibility for effectively implementing activity within the accounts and be eager to share your knowledge with the broader team.

    Preferred background in media/marketing with experience across:

    • Digital planning including expertise in using tools such as CM360, DV360, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Facebook Business Manager
    • Strong understanding of media research, measurement, and insight tools - you know their strengths/weaknesses, and when and how to effectively use them
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Team training and leadership skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, particularly explaining technical concepts to those in non-technical roles
    • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
    • Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives
    • Strong Excel knowledge and PowerPoint skills
    • International experience is preferred but not necessary
    • Project management and communication skills to be able to engage with multiple stakeholders to drive delivery of projects.
    • Highly organized with previous examples of delivering projects in a timely and effective manner
    • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high standard of work
    • Evidence of being solution driven and innovative in driving performance and delivery
