At Eni, we are looking for a Digital & IT Senior Business Analyst within Eni Trade & Biofuels (ETB) in London, UK. You will be the key to the success of the Digital & IT team, working side-by-side with our colleagues across different functions within the organisation to ensure that what we deliver meets and exceeds their expectations. At the same time, the DIT Business Analyst has an important role in the digital transformation, supporting the Energy Transition.
This role offers you unparalleled exposure to the entire commodity trading lifecycle - both physical and financial - through close collaboration with our Front Office, Risk functions, Finance, Back Office, and multiple business units.

ETB is the crude oil, refined oil products and biofuels trading and shipping company of Eni. We are a diverse and dynamic team of around 300 professionals distributed in three offices (Rome, London and Singapore) with the addition in Houston of Eni Trading & Shipping Inc. (ETS Inc) which handles marketing of oils and petroleum products for the US market. Our team is also involved in marketing Eni's oil equity productions, sourcing hydrocarbons and bio feedstocks, and managing the output of our traditional and green refineries.
As a member of the ETB, you will be responsible for:
- Working side-by-side with other D&IT teams and external parties to contribute in:
- Analysing Front Office business needs and translating into Data oriented and Microservices solutions.
- Working closely with development teams to analyse, prototype and deliver on requirements as efficiently as possible cloud-native solutions.
- Supporting requirements gatherings and specifications, choosing the most effective means to elicit and document these with workshops, storyboards, user stories, or other methods.
- Analysing and verifying requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards, as well as documenting these fully.
- Complying with established processes where required, and working across teams to define processes and documentation/training as new features and systems are implemented.
- Contribute to the definition of full testing procedures, and working with our business colleagues to plan and deliver these to ensure than newly developed functionality and newly implemented systems are fit for purpose.
- Participate across the organisation to deliver far-reaching programmes of transformation or initiatives across all areas of the organisation, contributing on business and technology view.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
- University degree with emphasis on Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics or equally by experience.
- Significant experience in an IT focused environment.
- Great communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships across all organisational levels.
- Flexible team player who understands the importance of responding to change constructively.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills, with an eye for accuracy.
- Experience in the energy sector in general and on trading and ETRM is a plus.
- Experience with Cloud Transformation, Microservices and Data driven designs.
- Experience applying methodologies of Agile, design thinking, UX is an asset.
- Knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages is an asset.
